RSVP by this Friday (10.09) to save your spot at the Charette! Not sure you know what this super spooky event is? Well, check out the full description here:
The Spooktacular Design Charette is a half-day event where architectural/design professionals & college students are teamed with students from the Philadelphia Charter High School for Architecture & Design (CHAD) in order to build 4’x8’ facades, which all together form a child-sized spooky street. “Spookytown” is then set up a couple week later for the preschoolers at the Children’s Crisis Treatment Center to trick-or-treat through! The children at the center (ages 3-5) have typically suffered from trauma or violence and our event offers them a safe environment to enjoy Halloween festivities.
Other awesome facts:
-- Event is at 9 am -1:30 pm Oct 17th
-- Breakfast and lunch are provided!
-- Great opportunity to earn IDP Leadership and Community Service Hours!
